The Patagonia Women’s Hampi Rock Pants.

“Super-comfy and light,” our tester said of the Women’s Hampi Rock Pants. She wore them climbing in the MegaRoof zone of Roy, New Mexico, kneebarring out the ceiling of Batman. The lightweight (8.4 oz S), durable, hemp/recycled polyester/spandex pants moved well when she had to throw her feet above her head, and the tapered lower leg and high elastic cuffs allowed her to heel-toe without snaggage. “They would be better for warmer days,” our tester said of climbing in cold temps, “but not as bad as I thought.” The pants also have a soft, high-stretch waistband and lie-flat drawstring so they fit well under a harness. MSRP: $79
