The Wild Country Zero Friends cams.

If Snoop Dog went trad climbing, his cam of choice would be Wild Country’s new Zero Friends, because they’re so sticky-icky. “It’s like they’re literally biting into the rock,” a tester commented of the wide, skimmed lobes, which adhered extremely well to granite, sandstone, and basalt. The Zeros feature a steel cable—flexy enough to bend downward in horizontals—that’s been encased in protective plates, while the 12mm Dyneema sewn sling is easily extendable, letting you reduce draws. Slimmed down for small placements, the set of six comes in sizes from 0.1 to 0.75, all with an extremely narrow head width that was perfect for seams, pin scars, and shallow slots. MSRP: $80 each
