“I wore the Flash more than any other harness this past fall. It’s a great all-purpose, burly harness,” said one tester. Its standout attribute is comfort, with half-inch-thick perforated foam generously padding the waist and leg loops. Our main testers—two tall, skinny dudes—found the two buckles on the waistbelt extremely helpful for dialing in fit: “Cinching down single- buckle harnesses to the small end of the size range often puts the belay loop off to the side,” said one. “It took some getting used to, but then micro-adjusting two buckles for perfect sizing became a much-loved feature.” Through many rappels and hanging belays at climbing areas in Colorado, testers never once found themselves squirming to get more comfortable. Adjustable leg loops make this an all-season harness, and two buckles let you drop the seat when nature calls.
