Black Diamond Offset Stoppers Nuts Trad Climbing Pro Rock Climbing Gear
Black Diamond’s Offset Stoppers
None

Weighing only 8.8 oz, the full set of Black Diamond’s new Offset Stoppers (#7–11) has mad bang for the buck, with each piece offering four tapered, vari-sized, trapezoidal facets. I used them on wonky, seamy granite cracks, and loved how deeply they seated in pinches, flare boxes, and tapers—you can rotate the nut to get just the right “seat.” With 10 kN of holding power, these puppies are bomber, not to mention easy to identify thanks to anodized color coding. They effectively halved the number of mid-range nuts I needed on trad and mixed pitches.

$15 per Stopper or $75 for a full set (#7–11), blackdiamondequipment.com
