Ocun Mescal - Sport Harness Review

Ocun Mescal,

$45, 12 ounces

Overall grade: B

Summary:

A comfortable, anatomically shaped swami is the Mescal’s big selling point. The swami sports a trim but substantial profile up front, contours up and over your hip bones and curves down into the small of your back for a cozy, body-hugging fit. Though it’s a good bargain overall, this rig could use a few improvements. The old-school tubing gear loops definitely need to be updated, and the buckle for the detachable rear risers was stiff and difficult to operate. As one of the more comfortable

es in the review, the Mescal did well on multi-pitch sport climbs, though it does lack a haul loop.
