“The black draws—gimme the Fixe black draws!” was all my buddy Will could say at Ten Sleep last summer. Smooth-clipping, light (I weighed the 5” draw at 3.1 oz), and just “bomber feeling” with their sleek carabiners and thick, easy-grab dogbone, they became our go-to clippers and good-luck talismans. The bolt-side ‘biner is the Orion straight-gate keylock, which has an ergonomic taper to facilitate gate opening, while the rope-side one is the subtly curved Minor, which might just clip faster for hard sport than anything I’ve used. Also available in 7” lengths.
