Arm pump has been a pesky, hard to solve issue for many athletes in many different sports and activities for decades. There are many opinions on how to solve this issue, however very few people ever find relief.
Many different activities can cause arm pump. Twisting a throttle and pulling a clutch (Motorcycle sports,) gripping a rock formation (rock climbers,) using a tool or surgical device (surgeons, dentists, carpenters mechanics,) pulling a hose (firemen,) controlling an opponent (MMA, BJJ, wrestling, grappling,) as well as pulling and pushing weights (Olympic weight lifting.)
What causes arm pump?
The energy required to perform certain movements attracts blood to the forearm flexor muscles, which are in the forearm compartment. When these muscles fill with blood, the fascia surrounding the muscles can restrict the temporary swelling, which causes tightness in the forearm, causing a weakened grip.
Any time we use energy to exercise and move something in a repetitive motion, the muscles required to complete the movement will attract blood. That is why our legs feel bigger after we go on a run or a bike ride, or while our chest gets larger from doing the bench press, or our forearms get larger from gripping and pulling our bodies up the side of a mountain.
4Arm Strong is the answer you have been waiting for!
Fascia is a very stiff and constricting tissue. 4Arm Strong creates tension on the forearm flexor muscles and surrounding fascia which, when accompanied by a forearm stretch can result in a more aggressive lengthening of the muscles and expansion of the fascia. Expanding the fascia and lengthening the muscles translates into more room in the forearm compartment so when blood volume is increased the result is less restriction.
4Arm Strong also creates better freedom of movement in the forearm compartment, which results in greater grip strength and better hand and wrist function. Increasing grip strength has many benefits. For a climber a stronger grip speaks for itself, however rock climbers should avoid strengthening their grip with resistance or weight training. Resistance, or weight training can cause the muscles in the forearm compartment to become larger, thus increasing the risk of arm pump. A stronger grip achieved through loading and activating the forearm muscles only creates a stronger grip for a short period of time. Many have learned the hard way that their newly achieved stronger grip becomes weaker very quickly because their grip strength training attributed to their arm pump.
4Arm Strong benefits
Use of the 4Arm Strong can result in reduced arm pump, stronger grip and better hand and wrist function. When the hands and wrists work with less tension, the entire body can function with less tension.
4Arm Strong is a self-therapy device for the forearm and as it turns out, works as good or better than any human treatment. 4Arm Strong should be used almost daily and is best when used just before you head out for a climb. A good tissue therapist can provide similar results as the 4Arm Strong, however it can get very pricey paying a therapist 3 to 4 times per week to keep your arms in suitable condition; not to mention you probably won’t have your therapist with you at the base of the mountain!
4Arm Strong is a much more affordable and convenient option that is proving to provide incredible results.
Currently 4Arm Strong is being used by many of the top motorcycle racers in the world. Arm pump is as widespread in the motorcycle racing world as it is in the rock climbing world. Testimonies are pouring in from motorcycle racers all over the world, how 4Arm Strong has been life changing. 4Arm Strong is excited to hear the same type of testimonies from the rock climbing world!
