Markus Bendler has climbed Hell’s Angels Paradise (M13), a severely overhanging mixed routes in the mountains of Tirol in southern Austria. The route climbs a 50-foot roof, followed by another 55 feet of overhanging ground, with the crux at the end, according to www.planetmountain.com. Bendler redpointed the pitch bareback (without the aid of heel spurs). The 21-year-old Austrian brings massive sport-climbing strength to frozen caves: He has established a 5.14d and two 5.14c sport routes at Schleierwasserfall in Austria.
