Come celebrate the thrill of human powered recreation in the beautiful High Sierra village of Bear Valley located at 7,000 feet along scenic Highway 4 between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite on August 16, 2008. A variety of outdoor activities including rock climbing, road cycling, mountain biking, flatwater kayaking and hiking will blend into an exciting weekend of adventure, education, competition and fun. Over the weekend a variety of outdoor activities for all ability levels will be organized and scheduled throughout the greater Bear Valley area. Everyone is welcomed to participate in as little or much as they desire. Pre-registration is encouraged and spaces are limited in some activities. Please feel free to contact us with questions.

Outdoor Bouldering Contest — "3rd Annual Bear Valley Boulder Bash" We are excited to host the "3rd Annual Bear Valley Boulder Bash" on Saturday August 16th, 2008. Last year proved that both experienced and novice boulderers could have a fun time pulling, cranking and cheering for one another at a scenic bouldering site 5 miles west of the Bear Valley. Our intent is not to host a world class competition but rather a friendly and fun sporting event. Everybody is encouraged to participate plus cash and prizes will be awarded to top finishers.
