Bereziartu Does Another 5.14+

The Basque superstar Josune Bereziartu has redpointed her second 9a (5.14d), Logical Progression in Joyama, Japan. The route was established by Dai Koyamada in 2002. Bereziartu, the only woman in the world to climb harder than 5.14b, had earlier repeated Bain de Sang (5.14d) in Switzerland. And Logical Progression is just her warm-up: She has traveled to Japan this winter hoping to climb Yuji Hirayama’s 2003 route Flat Mountain (5.15a), one of the hardest rock climbs in the world.
