Favorites Dominate World Cup

Kilian Fischhuber of Austria and Sandrine Levet of France continued to dominate the World Cup bouldering circuit for 2004, winning the third stop June 20 in Fiera di Primiero, Italy. Fischhuber has won two World Cups this year and placed second in a third, while Levet has won all three World Cup competitions this season. Unstoppable? Not quite. Fishchhuber and Levet each finished a dismal 13th in the European Championships, held the following week in Lecco, Italy. That bouldering competition was won by Daniel Dulac for the men and Olga Bibik for the women, both of whom finished second in Fiera di Primiero. American Lizzy Asher was the only North American competing at the World Cup in Italy. She placed 21st. Men 1. Kilian Fischhuber (AUT) 2. Daniel Dulac (FRA) 3. Julien Meral (FRA) 4.
