Francois Nicole has finished an old project at St. Loup, Switzerland, and graded it 9a/9a+ (5.14d/5.15a), according to www.8a.nu. Like many of the other routes at St. Loup, home to the 5.14+ Bain de Sang and La Chimère, Nicole’s new route, Bimbaluna, is a slightly overhanging, technical-limestone testpiece. The climb is about 65 feet long and has 35 moves.
