Dave Graham has repeated El Techo de los Tres B, a desperate boulder problem established last spring by Fred Nicole at Hueco Tanks, Texas. According to www.8a.nu, Graham graded the problem V14 and commented “hard!!!”

Last week, Graham made the second ascent of Terre de Sienne, another Nicole problem from last year. He thought this problem was V14, too. Ben Moon, who was climbing with Graham, said they had discovered a slightly different and possibly easier sequence than the one Nicole used. Graham succeeded on the third try of his third day on the problem.

In January, Graham climbed Nicole’s Esperanza (V14) in a single day of attempts. Stay tuned: He said on Moon’s site that he hopes to try Terremer, Nicole’s new sit-down start to Terre de Sienne, as well as some new lines in Hueco.
