9/5/13 – Jimmy Webb has established a potential V15 at the alpine bouldering hotspot of Lincoln Lake, Colorado.
The problem, The Wheel of Wolvo, could be his hardest problem to date. “Amazing boulder problem we’ve always looked at but just thought it to be too hard,” Webb said on his 8a.nu scorecard.
The problem is long: Webb broke it down as a 10-move V14 into a 15-move V11/12. “A pumpy one for sure, and it suited my style/height so perfectly,” he said.
Webb climbed with Dave Graham and Daniel Woods, who reportedly are close to finishing the problem.
Webb has had a successful climbing summer. He spent time in Rocklands, South Africa, where he flashed a number of hard boulders, including Sky, A Simple Knowing, The Vice (all V13), and more. He’s also climbed two more V13s while in Colorado: The One Percenter on Mt. Evans and Sea of Green at Wild Basin.
