News Link: Josh Wharton has completed a self-described “arbitrary” goal of redpointing an M10 mixed route, V10 boulder problem, and 5.13 rock route in a single week of climbing. From Monday to Saturday last week, Wharton climbed Package of Woe (M10) in Redstone, Colorado; Blind Date (5.13b) at the Fortress of Solitude, near Rifle, Colorado; and Resident Evil (V10) at Joe’s Valley, Utah.

Wharton won the Ouray Ice Festival competition earlier this month. And today, adding alpinism to the mix, he leaves for Patagonia with Tommy Caldwell.
