Dillon, Colorado – November, 2009 – Lake Dillon Art Center (LDAC) is excited to announce its grand re-opening in a new Dillon Town Center location. The opening is set for Friday, Nov. 20, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. LDAC is at 115 Village Place, inside the old Little Brown Drugstore building, just down from Pug Ryan’s. “I’m excited by the prospects this move affords LDAC,” said Matt Lit. Lit created Lake Dillon Art Center with the idea of bringing art and photography workshops to Dillon. The art center blossomed this year in La Riva del Lago mall. “Through the generosity of building owner, Abbas Rajabi, Lake Dillon Art Center grew from a plan on paper to a viable, working entity,” said Lit. “The support and commitment to my vision has grown and the realization of helping Dillon become a haven for the arts is growing with it. This move is the next plateau and I foresee many more.” The LDAC opening will feature a glimpse at the Open Artist Studio program, workshop demonstrations and a Silent Auction, featuring a mix of artwork from participating artists. Food and beverage will also be available. Lake Dillon Art Center will resume its first fridays @ Lake Dillon Art Center in December. Lake Dillon Art Center is located at 115 Village Place, Dillon, Colorado (80435) in the Dillon Town Center. More information is available at LakeDillonArtCenter.org or call 970-262-2006.
