News Link: Vince Anderson has sent a brief report and photo to theCleanest Line describing a new route on Kangchungtse (a.k.a. Makalu II, 24,850 feet). Anderson and Marko Prezelj climbed the west face on October 17. The two men are in Nepal with Steve House to attempt a direct line on the west face of Makalu.
