Omega Pacific Link Cams earn CE-Certification, US Patent

May 12, 2006 – Airway Heights, WA – Climbing and safety equipment manufacturer Omega Pacific announced that the company has received CE Certification and US Patent recognition for their new piece of rock climbing protection, the Link Cam spring loaded camming device. The patent recognizes the Link Cams’ exclusive technology that permits the devices to achieve a 2.5:1 camming ratio, more range than competing products. Based on a concept by longtime designer/inventor Greg Lowe, the Link Cam has been in development for over five years.
