The 12-year-old Czech climber Adam Ondra has redpointed Alien Carnage (8c+/5.14c) at Castillon, France, according to www.nice-climb.com. The young phenom was perhaps overdue: He already has redpointed nearly a dozen 5.14b routes, including a couple done on his second try. Ondra did his first 5.13 routes at age 9 and his first 5.14s at 11.
