Reel Rock Film Tour Showing to benefit Kismet Rock Foundation



The 4th Annual Reel Rock Film Tour will be making an appearance in North Conway, New Hampshire on Saturday, September 19, at 7:30 p.m. at the climbing wall in Cranmore Family Fitness Center. The Event is being hosted by and will benefit Kismet Rock Foundation, a North Conway-based non-profit providing valuable climbing instruction and education to youth from the New England area. Tickets are $10 and available at the door. The Reel Rock Tour showcases cutting-edge climbing and adventure films to audiences all over the world. This year’s films include the world premier of Progression, the latest from film producers at Big UP Productions, and First Ascent, which was co-produced by the innovative producers at Sender Films and the Nat Geo Adventure Channel. Both films are highly anticipated and document the sport of climbing being pushed to new levels. Kismet is working to enhance the development disadvantaged children through instruction in technical rock climbing. This comprehensive and multi-dimensional education develops potential, and prepares students to positively contribute to their communities and their culture throughout their lives. “We’re really excited to be able to bring the Reel Rock Tour to North Conway,” says Shaunna Richard, Event Manager for Kismet. “the films are going to be fantastic and we hope to raise a lot of support for Kismet.” Also involved with the event is Biddeford, ME based company Sterling Rope, who will be providing items for a raffle during the event.
