7/30/13 - Tommy Caldwell has repeated The Path (5.14 R) at the Back of the Lake during a short visit to Alberta, Canada, with his wife and young son, according to Gripped. The route has seen only a handful of repeats, including sends by Ethan Pringle and Matt Wilder.
The Path was established in 2007 by Sonnie Trotter, who removed the bolts from the old project in order to climb it with traditional protection. Starting with an existing 5.11a bolted pitch, the 130-foot route then launches up a thin crack line on an overhanging quartzite headwall.
