2/6/12 – Carlo Traversi and Paul Robinson have made the fourth and fifth ascents of the new Colorado problem, Memory is Parallax (V14). Dave Graham opened this problemin December; the boulder sits at the Elkland boulders, near Rocky Mountain National Park. Daniel Woods and Matty Hong quickly repeated the boulder problem last month. (Below is a video of Hong’s ascent.)Traversi reports on his Facebook page that “low-end V14 seems to be the consensus.” Robinson says, “Amazing moves up a stained glass–like wall. Coolest double drop-knee sequence.”Last week, Robinson finished Magic Touch (V13) in Moe’s Valley, Utah: “Crazy first move leading to some amazing climbing and a huge last move to the final jug.” He is currently headed to the East Coast.
