Following the success of their street-view ascent of El Capitan, Big UP Productions, Sender Films, and Google Maps have teamed up again. This time, for an immersive online Mont Blanc experience. The crew enlisted the help of athletes like Ueli Steck, Kilian Jornet, and Catherine Destivelle to create interactive 360 degree panoramas and videos at many of the massif’s iconic locations. Explore some of the panoramas below then continue on to Google Maps for the full experience.

Catherine Destivelle climbs the south face of Aiguille du Midi, just a few hundred meters from the Téléphérique de l’aiguille du Midi tram station, which services the highest cable car in the world.

Patrick Gabarrou climbs the  Cosmiques Icefall. The abundant number of icefalls and glaciers surrounding Mont Blanc make the region a paradise for ice climbing.
