www.bencarlson.net — Based in New York City Ben works as a lighting designer for television. He began climbing at age 12, with the Boy Scouts, and started photographing climbers around the Northeast. Ben has photographed climbers all over the world and prefers a simple, tiny point-and-shoot Canon SD400 digital camera, because if its size and portability, but recently invested in a digital SLR. Ben is also a licensed rock and ice climbing guide with the state of NY. He hopes one day to make a living following his passion, photographing and documenting climbers and climbing.
