Here are the coolest new routes (and repeats) of late.

Each January we post a farewell tribute to those members of our community lost in the year just past. Some of the people you may have heard of, some not. All are part of our community and contributed to climbing.

The “Dodo’s Delight” crew is back for more sail-to-climb adventures, this time on the east coast of Greenland.

An eclectic crew made the first ascents of a 3,750-foot 5.11- X and a 1,500-foot 5.12c while collecting data to inform climate-change scientists.

Nicolas Favresse, Sean Villanueva O'Driscoll, Aleksej Jaruta, and Jean-Louis Wertz explored a series of remote coastal spires, finding new terrain up to 5.13b.

Against a background of 10,000-foot peaks, icebergs, and the vast Atlantic Ocean, local Inuit kids in East Greenland are growing up stuck somewhere between traditional ways of life and the quickly encroaching modern world. Communities struggle with record suicide, alcoholism, and abuse rates. Four Icelanders and an American asked the question: Can rock climbing help?
