Interview: Wade Morris Discusses His FKT for the Casual Route on the Diamond

Climbing associate publisher sat down with Wade Morris via Skype to talk about his recent FKT for the Diamond on Longs Peak. Morris and partner Stefan Griebel summited the mountain via the Casual Route (5.10a) in a mereĀ 3 hours, 53 minutes, and 59 seconds car-to-car. The pair knocked five minutes off the previous record, set by Dean Potter in 1999 when he free soloed the route. Read more about the FKT here and hear Morris’s account in the video above.
