What do you do after establishing the world’s hardest rock climb?  For Ondra, the next challenge was clear: flash a 5.15a.

But it will take more than effort to accomplish a lofty goal like this. Ondra’s preparation is rigorous, both mentally and physically, but success will require perfect beta, lottery-rare conditions, and a whole lot of patience.

Reel Rock’s Age of Ondra (Part II) follows Ondra from the Czech Republic to Spain, then Canada, and finally France, the pressure in each location more severe than the last. “For me,” Adam explains, “maybe two or three potential options in the world that are good candidates to be flashed.”
