“I don’t want to be a good paraclimber, I just want to be seen as a good climber,” says Hannah Baldwin, a 25 year old climber without mobility of her right leg. In this video, Hannah reflects on her active early life, followed by teenage years beset by ill health. After rediscovering climbing, she went on to compete on the Great Britain Paraclimbing Team, culminating in a world title at the 2018 IFSC World Championships. Being with the team has, she says, enabled her to no longer be “Hannah in a wheelchair,” but simply “Hannah again.”
