Watch Jimmy Webb, Daniel Woods, and Keenan Takahashi battle against one of the hardest undone projects in the United States. On December 15, 2018, after 11 days of effort, Jimmy Webb completed the first ascent of Sleepwalker, suggesting a grade of V16/8C+.

According to an Instragram post by Daniel Woods, the problem, located in Red Rock’s Black Velvet Canyon, was first attempted by Nalle Hukkataival, who dubbed it the “Dry Nightmare” project. Woods has since made the second ascent of the line and confirmed the V16 grade, making Sleepwalker one of only a few V16s that has seen a second ascent.
