This weekend, while many Americans are watching football on the couch in a food coma, some of the world’s strongest competition climbers will travel to Toulouse, France, to compete for a coveted slot in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. A roster of 22 men and 22 women will vie in a combined format of speed, bouldering, and lead for six Olympic berths per gender.
