In 2006, Will Lemarie established one of Boulder’s crimpiest lines. Located on Flagstaff’s Nook Rock, Window Shopper begins low on small holds, climbs a few powerful moves on sharp edges and slopers into Don’t Touch The Glass, a hard V7. After Lemarie, Peter Beal completed the second ascent in 2012, and Hunter Damiani sent the problem in 2015. Window Shopper marks Williams’s ninth ascent of the grade. She quickly fired all the moves but linking them was a struggle. After four days, and countless falls on the last moves, Williams fired the problem, soloing the 20 foot 5.10 slab finish. “Persistence, persistence, persistence, and a bit of luck got me through this one,” Williams wrote on Facebook. The ascent marked the end of her training cycle and the beginning of a three week trip to Bishop, California.
