“I’m living a very special moment. I’m back to doing something that I thought I’d never do again.” Patxi Usobiaga was among the world’s best sport climbers until a 2011 car accident caused him to stop climbing completely. Now he’s returned to the sport and climbing hard. In this video, he pieces together the moves for El bon Combat (5.15b/c) at Cova de Ocell near Barcelona. Also, Chris Sharma introduces a project next door, which he described as El Bon Combat‘s evil twin sister: “It’s harder, it’s nastier, it’s got smaller holds…It’s a really futuristic badass project.”
