SUPER HEROIS vertical carnival video 26 from Cedar Wright on Vimeo.

This dispatch features local hardman Magråo on another Serra do Cipo, Brazil mega-classic called “Super Herois,” a 58 meter 28 quickdraw journey up some of the best stone I have ever climbed on. The moves are sustained, gymnastic, and in your face! You get to the top of this one and you feel like a Super Hero!

Verticalcarnival.blogspot.com started four months ago as an in the field video dispatch experiment chronicling the adventures of North Face Athletes Cedar Wright and Renan Ozturk along with their good Friend Stanley, as they sought out first ascents and climbing adventure in Argentina and Brazil. The rest of the team has gone home, but three months later, Cedar is still in Brazil keeping the adventure and blog alive with wild videos from the little know limestone paradise Serra do Cipo. Part of what makes this project unique is that everything from the original music to the on the fly edits has been recorded and edited in the field by Cedar using an HMC 150, a macbook pro, Final Cut and Garageband! Hope you guys enjoy…lots of love Cedar Wright.
