Portia Menlove climbs Sunshine (V11) in Hueco Tanks, Texas, her second at the grade. “It is a V11 sloper problem into a very, very sharp crimp ending,” Menlove says on Prana’s blog. “It is sustained and core intensive the whole way, and after you make it through the hard part and think it is over, the V5 ending feels really hard… Had to work for it. I was so psyched.” She also recently pulled off an ascent of Beefy Gecko (V11) in Bishop (her first V11).
